I rode the Lumpy permanent yesterday. I took the longer option, although I probably wouldn’t have if I had known about the headwind i would have along the river leaving Kamloops. Beautiful fall colours at higher altitude. Temp +2C to +15. Sunny morning, cloudy afternoon, and it started to rain just after after I finished. Just for fun I rode an old mountain bike with butterfly bars- great everywhere but in the headwind.
