Remembering Michael McIntosh Michael Warren McIntosh BC Randonneurs Member #2178 We're all still reeling from the tragic cycling accident which took the life of member 2178 Michael McIntosh on January 27. On Saturday, February 9 friends and family, including 12 BC Randonneurs, said good bye to Mike at the Musqueam Culture Centre on the Musqueam lands at the mouth of the north arm of the Fraser River. A beautiful afternoon of celebration and remembrance was guided by Musqueam elder, artist and educator Shane Point. To help remind us of Mike's life, pursuits and passions there was a program. Many of you will remember that Kim would sometimes meet Mike at controls on lower mainland brevets. ..... Additional. From Kim Brooks: Please express my humble gratitude to all those that were able to attend the service and everyone who shared time with Mike. He truly loved riding with the club and experiencing the shared passion for cycling the randonneur way.
