Route: Tour of Greater Victoria
Conditions: were favourable, little to no wind, temperature in the high 20s, peaking at 30 degrees.

8 people showed up with intentions to ride but Gord Litster rescinded his intention when it was discovered that he had no pedals on the bike he brought, so in the end there were 7 riders who started. 7 riders finished within the time limit and I am pleased with these results. There were a few notable firsts: Lorraine Nygaard completed her first brevet ever, Martin Williams completed his first BC brevet, Mikael Jansson and Fred Rockwell completed their first brevets of the year. I am sincerely proud of all of these accomplishments.
