PacPop & CanPop Suspended

The BC Randonneurs first hosted the Pacific Populaire in 1986 and the Canada Day Populaire in 2000. These events were extremely popular, some years drawing over 700 participants. Unfortunately, times have changed. There are now more permits required, more regulations to meet, and more certificates needed to host the events. There is a greater need for diligent registration and liability understanding to ensure that the club, the cities, and the participants are protected in case of an incident. This has resulted in an increasingly onerous workload that is beyond the capacity of our club to manage. Consequently, we will not be running these events in 2025.
