This is from Casey's school journal dated June 4th (after the Lower Mainland 600). Casey was in grade 2 this year. (He's Barb and Alex Pope's son.)

"On the weekend yesterday bike riders came to our house. Our house was the finish line. I like our house being the finish. It was the best Sunday ever. I liked the bike riders at my house. It was fun with the bike riders. I gave out the pins but I didn't shake their hands. I was scared to do it. But it was still fun with the bike riders at my house."
