Interior 300 Report

The Interior 300km attracted 15 riders on Saturday, May 12, with the route starting and finishing in Sorrento on Shuswap Lake. The weather was sunny throughout, with a brisk tailwind behind most of us as we rode south from Salmon Arm to Kelowna. There was probably a headwind as we turned on Westside Road winding north beside Okanagan Lake, but the hills not the wind were our concern on that portion of the ride. The route cards caused a bit of confusion with their novel approach to arithmetic. The organizers will take instruction in adding and subtracting before next year's ride.
