Got home from the 300 to find a message from Paul Enoch. Paul is probably the only Aussie born athlete to hold a speed skating world record (1962 - 3000 m). He lived in Norway at the time. He came to Canada and rode as part of our team in the 1968 Olympics. He recently bought a pair of tyres. He realised after about 50 km that they were too heavy for his kind of riding. He thought perhaps randonneurs may have more use for them than he does. They are: Specialised Turbo "Armadillo" 700Cx23. He paid about $35 each for them and wants to sell them.
