BC 5000 pins in either 1989 or 1990.
(The year the pin was actually
earned is not indicated.)
In 1989 Dan McGuire introduce the
Flèche Pacifique. ACP regards the
Flèche Pacifique to be an acceptable
substitute for the Flèche Velocio
requirement in the BC 5000 award.
The Flèche Pacifique made it practical
for local riders to earn BC 5000 pins.
The Brevet Cyclotouriste 5000 pin
becomes the Brevet de Randonneur
5000 pin in 1991. |
