Entry Information

Please read the information about the event that is available on the other pages of this site and in particular on the FAQ page. Please check back to the web site often, or subscribe to the RSS feed because we are updating the site continuously with information about the 2008 event.

Due to limited space constraints at some of the control locations the 2008 event will be limited to 100 riders. If more than 100 entries have been received by 15-Mar-2008 a lottery will be used to select entrants and establish a waiting list. The lottery will only be necessary if more than 100 entries are received by 15-Mar-2008.

Don't despair if you find yourself on the waiting list! In past years approximately 10% to 20% of the riders who initially entered withdrew in the months before the event, so the chances of moving from near the top of the waiting list into the event are likely to be fairly high.

Entry Qualification

Registrants must have completed a 200, 300, 400, 600 km brevet series sometime between 1-Jan-2006 and 15-Jun-2008. Note: Brevets of longer distances may be substituted for shorter distances (e.g. completion of two 600 km brevets may be counted as a 400 and a 600).

Fee Structure

The entry fee for the 2008 Rocky Mountain 1200 km is CAD $535.

The fee will include:

A cycling jersey commemorating the 2008 Rocky Mountain 1200 can be ordered with your entry, for delivery at the start, at a cost of CAD $75.
