We respect your personal privacy. We believe ensuring the security of your personal information is important, and we strive to protect any personal information you provide us. What is Personal Information

Personal information is any personally identifiable information such as your name, residential and e-mail address, telephone number, and credit card information.

Limitation of Use and Disclosure

Your name, gender, bike type, cycling club and province/state and country will appear publically on the entry and then rider/waitlist. This is to allow you and other riders to know who will be riding and who is on the waitlist and give everyone an idea of the diversity of riders.

Your contact information including email address, residential address and phone number will only be used to contact you or mail you items with regard to the Rocky Mountain ride. They will not be revealed to anyone other than event organizers without your permission.

Your credit card information will be encrypted immediately and stored online only in encrypted form. We will handle it securely offline and it will be disposed of in a secure manner after the event.

Security

We use appropriate security safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Data from the entry form is exchanged on a secure server. We use one of today's most advanced security systems, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, to encrypt, or encode, information you send to us in the entry process. The encryption process protects information, such as your credit card number, and address by scrambling it before it is sent from your computer.
