This book is similar in intent to the Burke/Pavelka offering. Although the version I know is revised for the US market, its frame of reference is distance cycling in the UK. There are dedicated sections on randonneur cycling and PBP, and lots of photos from PBP and other brevets. Like the Burke/Pavelka book I have no hesitation recommending this for both the beginning and experience ultra cyclist. There is one copy of this book in the Vancouver Public Library system. [Eric F.
