Rides in Purple are expected to have significant out-of-region
appeal.
Notes:
1. In 2007 and 2011 there was a 300-200-300-200 hell week three weeks before PBP. Great training. [Hell Weekend scheduled for August 1-3]
2. EdHell week does not fit perfectly with NW Crank. There would be back to back 600s April 16 and April 18. (Only one rider would be affected...) Our fleche does not conflict with the SIR fleche, but EdHell week does.
3. Pacific Populaire needs to be a week early to accommodate Danelle's personal schedule. Normally that Sunday would be the Victoria Day Popualire. Where does VicPop go? No real reason they couldn't be on the same day. (This might be confusing on the web site.) A week later (April 5) would feed nicely into the VI Spring 200, but it is Easter weekend. [VicPop scheduled for April 5]
4. I have not made any attempt to sort the Peace Region dates - Wim always does this himself.
5. I've entered an earlier than usual summer Island series with the 600 on August 1. This would allow riders to ride a series close to PBP and have a good recovery period. I just put that out there as an idea. Mike will need to decide what's best for Island riders. [Summer 600 cancelled for 2015]
6. Bob has put forward 2 options for the Interior make-up brevets weekend with last chance PBP qualification in mind. Not a bad idea. We should find out when the PBP final reg date is. I have no Idea where to put the Interior 1000. Bob? [Make-up rides on June 20, 1000 on June 27]
