Dry. Calm on Saltspring Island, SE after leaving Saltspring, switching to NW later in the day.

Conditions:
Great weather with mild tempatures and headwinds as riders headed north.

Conditions:
The weather was cool to start. By 11am the temperature was 25 degrees. The temperature remained high for the rest of the day requiring the riders to consume a great deal of water. The weather forecast included the possibility of showers but they did not materialize.

Conditions:
The start on Saturday was cool but soon developed into very pleasant weather with no issue with the air quality. A stiff north wind offered some resistance from Merville to Sayward. At the Sayward turn around riders were finally able to get some benefit from that north wind. Sunday morning the air quality started to slowly deteriorate until evening when it was quite poor.
