This is only part of the table circulated by ACP after PBP 03. The original table included four additional categories of data: Inscrits (registrants), Non Partants (non starters), Arrivants (finishers - regardless of time), and "Hors délais" (this means finished, but outside the time limit.) The table was so crowded with data that it was difficult to make any sense of it. To make the data easier to see and understand, I have pared the table down to its three essential categories: starters, DNFs, and registered finishers. I have added 2003's 14 "Hors délais" riders to the abandons DNF category data. [Eric F.] |
