Richard reported in after the Kamloops/Interior 400 on Saturday (May 28). It was another casual e mail message to a few of us coasties. [EF] Interior - Kamloops
400 Hello: The Interior 400k was ridden on
Saturday May 28/05. It was hot. It was hotter than hot. It was
awfully hot. There was not a cloud in the sky, only a blisteringly
intense sun which hung out for far too many hours. Randy Benz's
thermometer read 37+ degrees Celsius at one point and the suspicion
is that it was warmer than that on occasion, particularly on
the agonizing grind out of Cherryville. The route was Kamloops
east to Vernon and then on to Cherryville where the 10 riders
turned and headed west to Kamloops via Vernon and Salmon Arm.
