Charles Stourm

Charles Stourm was appointed by L'Auto to be the ride captain for the first Audax official rides. He served in this capacity from 1904 to 1906 when he retired to the provinces to become a wine merchant. In recognition of his contribution, Stourm received the designation of Audax #1 after the successful completion of the first official Audax ride in April 1904.
