Vanessa and John

cycling legend John Hathaway was in Paris for his third and final
PBP (1976 audax version, 1979, 1983). But who's that girl...?
It's Vanessa Cowley formerly Vanessa Bridge - yes, Harold's daughter.
(She was not there to ride in PBP '83.) And Vanessa remains very
much a part of the BC Randonneur family - she designed this year's
excellent Pacific Populaire promotional brochure.
