A message from Brad Mcguire... Hi Eric Here's one for you. I was riding through Duncan yesterday [yes, on the vi300 - Ed] when I hear "hissss," and I find that my tire is flat. I look down, to find that my rear tire has a cotter pin that has run through the tread and out the sidewall. There was a 1/4 inch wide hole at the entry and exit point. So much for kevlar! I thought that the ride might be over for me, but I had a spare tube and I tried out my Park Tire Boot, which managed to keep my tire together for the next 120 km until I got back to Victoria. ------ Way to be prepared Brad ! |
