Conditions:
On the day of the ride the weather could best be described as cool and wet. There was a constant drizzle of rain for the first 150K. This was of concern to some of the riders as the wet conditions made the descent of many hills very hazardous. Due the weather conditions, the very hilly and challenging nature of the course, there were two DNFs.

Conditions:
For most, dry for the first 80 km. Then drenching rain, wind and 9 degrees made for difficult conditions without good rain gear. Fortunate riders had a dry last 30 kms.

Overcast. A few short squalls for some riders. Organizer had torrential rain, but not the riders!
